    And today is Josh Is a Bad Cartoonist Day.
    NewNet didn't seem to work out for the new IRC channel (a bunch of netsplits and ping timeouts over just a few days, plus the atrocity of limiting nicks to 9 characters), so we've moved it to #avalon on irc.aniverse.net. The channel seems to get most traffic around midnight Eastern time and into the wee hours, but a few people lurk during the day and sometimes pop up if you start chatting. Also, it could be a temporary substitute for the Avalon Forum if the recent technical issues persist any longer.

    David Willis got bored, so he provided the coloured version of yesterday's strip. :-) The usual Josh-coloured version is in the archive now.

    I'm up way too late, so I got the comic drawn, and just scanned it in. I'm going to try to have a "colourized" version later today, or with tomorrow's comic at the latest. At least here you can see the comic before it gets touched up on the computer. (Ooooh, a special feature! ;-) )

    Today marks the end of David Willis' guest stint here at Avalon. Huge thanks to him for giving me a break while my life was pulled around in several different directions. Normal Avalon resumes tomorrow.
    But in more important news, David's comic, It's Walky turns five years old today! Its predecessor, Roomies, had a huge impact on me and on Avalon... and even though *cough* it pales in comparison to Roomies, It's Walky is still my favourite comic on the web today. GO CELEBRATE NOW. :-)

    David Willis continues to draw my comic this week. :-) Big thanks to him... and also, congratulations for five whole years of RoomiesIt's Walky!
    Meanwhile in Josh-Land (aka. Ottawa), I'm still in the middle of moving to my new place... which is the stage of "where the heck do I put all this crap." My computer is physically inaccessible at the moment (never mind disconnected from the Internet), so I'm relying on my university's computer labs. Speaking of which, school begins tomorrow, so I get to enjoy that facet of life again. And finally, Cynthia and I got engaged last week, so we've been busy with family and friends (as well as moving her stuff in time for her to resume school). So that's why there're no new comics. :-)
