    I'm running a bit behind again... I wish I could say I was catching up on sleep in return. :-) Up there is some wicked awesome fan art by Crazyfurries and The Black Narwhal, who apparently do Caffeinated Sanity. Now, I'm not sure if they draw the comic, or they only drew the fan art. :-) Anyways, check out their site... I can't see anything there in Mozilla, but perhaps it shows up in IE.

    Sorry for the lack of a new comic today. Today's is running way too late, and I've lost enough sleep this weekend already. There will either be two new comics tomorrow, or one tomorrow and one on Saturday.

    We have a double Guest Artist Sunday today, since both submissions were so topical. Stuart Hipke gives us an alternative outcome for Alison's costume, and David Willis (illustrious artist of It's Walky gives us... well... you can see for yourself. ;-) Thanks to both artists for their submissions!

    Well, here's a whack of stuff I probably should have mentioned yesterday but forgot... eep...
    KAH, an illustrious Forum-goer, has just completed an entire suite of classical music based on Avalon. It's called Souvenirs d'Avalon, written and performed entirely by KAH, and really must be heard to be believed. Check it out here.
    Also, Avalon fan extraordinaire Darth Paradox has just begun a new comic titled Scatterplot. He insists it isn't entirely about math. ;-) Check it out!

    Today is Avalon's second anniversary! Greetings to anyone new to Avalon who wandered this way via the Keenspot newsbox. If you want to get up to speed on the story to date, it's best to start from the very beginning. Otherwise, you could can go back to the beginning of summer, or maybe just the beginning of this storyline. And please don't be concerned about the date on the comic up above... I'm running behind by a week. :-)
    Meanwhile, I promised something special for today, and that would be: the Art section has been updated. Yes, after 6 long months I've finally updated the Art section. :-) And over that time, roughly 150 pieces of Avalon artwork have accumulated. There's a lot of high-quality work in there from a whole bunch of readers and artists, so make sure to check it out in all its thumbnailed glory. :-)

    No new comic today, but instead you get this drawing of Phoebe in her Hallowe'en costume (the original art for this drawing is currently up for auction). There will be new comics all the rest of this week. But that's not the important thing here... which is that Thursday marks Avalon's 2nd anniversary! There'll be some big stuff here that day, so make sure not to miss it!
